All applicants must complete the online placement test at learnerprofiler.co.za before proceeding with the application.

Step 2: Online Application Submission

Submit your application through the official college portal at capricorn.coltech.co.za. Initial status: Pending Verification.

Step 3: Document Verification & Review

The selection committee reviews applications and supporting documents. Status changes to Pending Review. Missing placement tests trigger automated notifications.

Step 4: Provisional Acceptance

Successful applicants receive SMS/email notifications and status changes to Provisionally Accepted. Must accept offer within stipulated timeframe.

Step 5: Campus Registration Finalization

Visit assigned campus with required documents (certified ID, academic results, proof of residence). Status changes to Pre-Enrolled.

Step 6: Final Registration & Payment

Campus enrolment officers complete registration. Private/self-paying students submit proof of payment. Final status: Registered.

Step 7: Orientation & Commencement

Receive student card, attend orientation, collect learning materials and timetable. NSFAS beneficiaries apply for allowances through Student Support Office.

Private/Self-Paying Students
